First of all, let’s take a look at the pros of UFO VPN:

+ 5 simultaneous connections
+ Smart connection feature
+ Great pricing (starts $3.33/month)
+ User-friendly interface
+ High speeds

As you can see, we haven’t listed “No logging policy” as a plus, because UFO VPN does seem to log some of the data for 96 hours.

“All the information we collect and store:

  • Personal information: city-level geographic location.
  • Non-personal information: data related to user’s device, app version, connection timestamp, the server and protocol one connected, network type and error report(if any).

Analysis of our servers: which is non-identifying, like the analysis of our official sites. This is a mixed big data from all users.

You can get all the data we collect in our privacy policy here “

If you’re a privacy concerned internet user – we recommend choosing some other VPN provider (e.g. Surfshark, who has almost the same pricing but has complete no-logging policies).

VPN clients

UFO VPN supports a few platforms/OS’es, including macOS, Windows, Android, Android Basic, and iOs. We had an opportunity to test out their macOS and iOs apps and they were really easy to use, so that’s a plus!

We did UFO VPN speed tests accordingly to our methodology. UFO VPN has 2000+ servers in 47+ countries (which, honestly, is a nice number). Here are the results we got:

No VPN (Europe)
Ping: 6ms
Download: 134.16 Mbps
Upload: 89.91 Mbps

US Server (New York)

  • Ping: 184ms
  • Download: 32.11 Mbps
  • Upload: 12.13 Mbps

Asia server (Seoul)

  • Ping: 94ms
  • Download: 25.50 Mbps
  • Upload: 14.82 Mbps

Europe server (Rome)

  • Ping: 42ms
  • Download: 58.72 Mbps
  • Upload: 23.34 Mbps

Australian server (Sydney)

  • Ping: 190ms
  • Download: 6.36 Mbps
  • Upload: 4.05 Mbps

Although UFO VPN is a pretty new name in the VPN industry, its server infrastructure does not stay behind the industry leaders. More than 2000 servers in 47 countries as really a good number and even some of the older names in the VPN market can’t brag with similar numbers (e.g. Perfect Privacy has only 26 countries)

UFO VPN is still a pretty new and unknown name in the industry. As our speed tests say, it has pretty decent speeds and nice pricing. However, the company is a bit shady as their logging policies are unclear. Also one of the most important cons is that UFO VPN does not have live customer support, which is extremely useful and wanted by users. Our final grade is 4*/5 with a chance of improvement in the near future.

As mentioned, UFO VPN has a decent pricing package. Their cheapest and most valuable plan is for a 1-year subscription (costs $3.33/mo or $39.99/Y). They also offer a 6-month subscription for $4.99/mo ( $29.99/6mo) or $9.99 for a 1-month plan.
